  St. Mary's Church Pallippuram  
  This is the first Church in Asia dedicated to Our Lady of Assumption, which is said to he established in AD 52. This is the mother church of all the SyroMalabar Churches in Cherthala and Vaikom Taluks, The feast of Our Lady of Assumption on August  15th attracts thousands of pilgrims from all parts of Kerala.
St. Thomas Church Mattel
       The Church built in the island Mattel. Where the miraculous St. Thomas Cross was found. This island is hardly 50 yards away from St. Mary' s Church. Pallippuram. The main festival is on july2nd and 3rd every year There is a plan to have special liturgical service and Novena in this Church on all first Fridays.
Kurisupura Church
      The Church built to keep the Holy Cross when it was found in Mattel. This is the most ancient Church in this area, There are Holy Mass and other celebrations during the month of may, July l6th and on September I4"'.
Baptismal Pont
The baptismal point is made of single stone was once used by Bl. Chavara Kuriakose to batize infants while he was parish priest here . The ancient inscriptions on the Pont attracts many historians
    The cofounder of CMI Congregation belonged to this Parish and was a renowned priest of his time who was also the Rector of Pallippuram seminary. It was he who recruited blessed Chavara Kuriakose Elias to the Seminary and gave him spiritual formation for about 14 years... The mortal remains of Malpan are still in the Sanctuary. Pallippuram Church was the first Seminary for Syro-Malabar clerics and later it was moved to Mannanam.
